My dear hubby accepted a job there and we decided it was time for us to pack up and move. It is Friday and I thought I would share a comical "Riley story" to get us all ready for a fun and fabulous weekend with our families. So, here goes...

Let me set the scene...My son LOVES The Berenstain Bears! He quotes them constantly...If I wonder where he picked up a word or saying, I can usually find it somewhere on a BB DVD. There is one episode that talks about Mama Bear making pies and out of the clear blue sometimes my son will ask, "Mom? Pie?"

(Come to think of it, a lot of the episodes talk about Mama Bear making pies...Hmmm...some pie would be pretty tasty right about now...)

OK, back to the story...One night when I am getting ready to make dinner, I ask Riley what he would like to have...What does he say? "Pie." So, I say, "I know you want pie, but what else do you want?"

Here is my 2 1/2 year old son's reply: "A fork."

I mean, DUH MOM! Gimme a freakin' fork with the pie and that is all I need! From the mouth of my sweet, pie lovin' baby boy...Have a great weekend!

Well, the fall season is finally here and Halloween is upon us! I still don't have the costume, but I do know what Riley would like to be this year ...Thomas the Train. This is fine except that the only Thomas costume I could find was 2 sizes too big and basically he was drowning in it. So, I guess I will be surfing the net to find another one closer to his size. After I saw his face light up when he saw that costume I guess I have no choice but to get that for him! Speaking of Halloween, we have some adorable items in that will put you in the spirit! Lots to report since my last post! My little sis came in with her husband and we saw Hootie & The Blowfish and it was a great show! We even had VIP Tickets to the After Party and my sister got to meet and hug Darius Rucker! Our little guy was great with his sitter, he loves her, but we missed him the entire time and even bought him a Hootie T-Shirt!

I have been busy adding lots of new stationery designs to the site this week. I have added some really fun items from Kelly Hughes designs such as personalized placemats, plates, luggage tags, note cards and vinyl labels. Take a minute to visit our site and check them out! A day in the life...

... of The Posh Palmetto. Ok, right now, I am posting as I watch my little one draw all over the tub with his tub crayons. Oh, what a life he has...his biggest worry right now is why I won't let him continue to run the bath water until it is overflowing!

Speaking of crayons, I do want to share some supercute finds that I have added to our site. First, there is the mini tote from Shoots & Ladders. I love, love, love all things mini and this is adorable! I can just see a precious little girl running around with it while her mom wears the matching mid size zipper tote! The bags come in all sorts of fabulous novelty vintage fabrics and to top it all off they are water and stain resistant! Now, who out there with a toddler doesn't love anything that resists stains?? Now, to the crayons...The Doodlebugz Crayola Crayon Keeper is the perfect thing to have in your bag when you need entertainment for your child and you need it quick!
